While I missed the mark of 7 hours and 100 miles, I did a quite impressive 4h 6m and 66 miles. Not bad. I'm still thinking about April...

It's official...I have made it to the rank of Shodan. Yep, I passed. I couldn't be happier...it feels good.

I can't help but to think back to being in Savannah; it was a pretty dark period in my life. I left everything I loved for my job...no, I should say for my career. I remember practicing Seisan and being near tears in frustration because I couldn't remember. I remember being estatic about finding a Chito-Ryu club, only to have to make the descision to not continue my training with them (THAT was just a crappy situation all around). Driving back to Savannah at 4am (or arriving at 2-3am) so I could stay and attend class while in Roswell. Running from my apartment to Forsyth Park wearing ankle weights in 90+ degree (with 110+ degree heat index...) heat and kicking furniture to train because I had no one to spar with...

That ladies and gentlemen is what I call DESIRE.

The sucky part is that the *easy* part is over...the tough stuff starts now.
